There is not a lot of difference between Ames and Blacksburg

College towns surrounded by farm country. Ames is actually much less rural than Blacksburg and is about 20 mins from Des Moines which is enormous compared to Roanoke.

I'd prefer to move back to the NRV rather than live here in IA, but that's because I spent a lot of my life there. There is a lot of great things about living in IA, I just hope KD decides that the things that are great about the NRV are better.
